Back to Work!

Well. . .I'm back to work after enjoying some time off with Sam.  It has been an adjustment, but we're slowly getting into a routine!  Sam is growing!  He already weighs 13 lbs!  He likes to sit in his new seat (with an arm behind his head for a little support).  He really enjoys going to Carrie's house--all the kids just adore him.  Carrie has a plenty of helpers!

Olivia and Ben are doing well.  Olivia aced her first two spelling tests and is finishing her soccer season---her team is undefeated!  Ben can't wait for his birthday---John is taking Thursday off to spend the day with Ben--so they are celebrating his birthday at daycare on Friday.  I have conferences on Thursday night, so we will do his family party on Friday night.  Of course, he has requested pizza for dinner!  He and John ordered the birthday cake, and Ben won't tell me what kind of cake it is until Friday!  We'll post party pictures this weekend!

Spiderman Visits

Ben hung out with Sam and Mommy today----I think it was because he wanted to get his Halloween costume!  He will be Spiderman this year.  He wore the costume all day and loved posing for pictures.  He was a big help when it came to baking cookies today--when his mask is off I have to call him "Peter Parker."

Samuel had his two month check-up this week.  He weighed in at a whopping 13 lbs. 9 oz.  and he is 25 in. long!  He did not enjoy his shots:-(  Olivia is getting better and better at holding her little brother--she is a lot of help.

Biking and "Strollering" at the Park

The weather has been great this week, so we've been able to go for walks and ride bikes a lot.  Olivia and Ben like the path at the park behind our neighborhood.  Sam likes it, too!  Olivia did have her first big "spill" on this particular outing.  She had wounds on her nose as evidence!  Ben took lots of water breaks and Sam sucked his fingers!

New Comforter

I finally got a new comforter for our bed.  It was hard to find something John and I both like. Ben and Sam decided to hang out one morning in our bed--Sam loves listening to Ben talk, and Ben loves to talk to Sam! Both boys also like being in their underwear and diaper! This particular morning, Ben was showing Sam one of his Batman toys from McDonald's.

Soccer Saturday

Olivia is enjoying playing soccer again this fall.  She is on a co-ed team again and has met a lot of new friends.  John is coaching her team along with her friend Jackson's dad.  They have a very competitive team this year!
